Robotic process automation (RPA) gets a lot of attention, and rightfully so. Multiple studies have indicated it’s the technology most often deployed by companies to support their digital transformation efforts.
Yet despite the investment and commitment, it’s clear that by itself, RPA is not enough to meet the demands placed on businesses operating in a digital world. Resilient organizations know they need to be agile in order to survive and succeed. They must be able to rapidly identify and automate as many business processes as possible—and this calls for end-to-end automation and true digital workflow transformation.
Is RPA an important piece in this process? Absolutely! But is it the only piece? Definitely not.
