  • BMW Group reveals its latest project, an AI-generated Art Car in commemoration of its 50th anniversary of BMW Group Cultural Engagement. AI was leveraged to create an artwork from 50K images of artworks spanning 900 years of art history and additional 50 hand-picked works from contemporary artist BMW has worked with over the past 50 years.

  • Pecan AI, a predictive analytics startup has raised $35 million in Series B funding. VentureBeat says Pecan intends to expand its operations globally and help organisations adopt AI and big data Text Blaze from Winter 2021 Y Combinator batch has closed a $3.3 million seed round.

  • TechCrunch says Text Blaze works using “chrome extension” and allows users to save “snippets” of text that they can add to emails and other notes in a rapid-fire fashion.

  • Microsoft releases a new open-source command-line tool, Counterfit to help test the security of AI systems. This is in accordance with Microsoft Responsible AI principles. ZDNet says the tool can be used in combination with other approaches to prevent adversarial ML, where an attacker tricks a machine-learning model with manipulative data.
